Who are we?
Artistic Humans is a Mumbai-based creative and social-impact organisation using theatre, education, and cultural platforms to turn ideas into public value.
From producing award-winning original plays and curating recurring platforms to conducting civic awareness street theatre across Maharashtra, our practice connects artistic excellence with community participation.

Darshan Mahajan — Founder
Theatre practitioner, playwright, director, and social entrepreneur. From portraying Mahatma Gandhi worldwide in Yugpurush to spearheading 75×75×75 and Mission ICU critical healthcare infrastructure.

'Yugpurush'
Darshan portrayed Mahatma Gandhi at age 21. Multilingual theatrical masterpiece crossed 1,000+ international shows worldwide.
'The Artist'
Original production won 10 accolades across India, including Best Play at two National Theatre Festivals and international selection.
'K Se Kalakaar'
Our first 4-day festival at Poinsur Gymkhana, staging 5 original productions combining collective exchange and audience engagement.
'Bhumika: The Journey'
Award-winning Hindi & Gujarati production. Winner of 18 accolades across two National festivals and 4 Maharashtra State awards.
'Amrit Mahotsav 75×75×75'
75 shows in 75 institutions in 1 day on Shaheed Day (March 23, 2023). Impacted 1,000+ students and 18,000+ citizens with Maharashtra Govt.
'Pruthvi Che Shetkari'
World's first dance-drama play based on millets, featured internationally by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
'Sanskrutik Kala Manch'
A recurring performing arts stage co-founded with Poinsur Gymkhana. Hosted 600+ artists across 25 programmes over 2.5 years.
'Rashtragranth'
Presented as India's first play based on the Constitution of India. 40+ artists & technicians translating constitutional literacy into gripping theatre.
